Did you know that Fall is prime time for shore fishing in Wisconsin? The Fall Fishing Google Map includes driving directions, fish species, and a picture of shore fishing locations. There are 50 areas on the map within 60 minutes of Milwaukee!
During fall, Chinook and Coho salmon start a migratory quest to spawn in streams upriver. Starting with the arrival of Chinook in mid-September, Coho follow suit by early October. If these usually-deep-water Lake Michigan fish have been escaping your grasp during the summer, now is your chance to catch them in shallower waters.

According to the Wisconsin DNR, other species of fish that you might catch during fall include steelhead, brown trout, walleye, largemouth bass, and smallmouth bass.
